Der Battle-Royale-Modus von "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" wird free-to-play sein und ohne das Hauptspiel funktionieren, so ein Gerücht.
Laut einem aktuellen Gerücht soll "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" tatsächlich einen Battle-Royale-Modus bekommen. Der YouTuber "The Long Sensation", der den Namen von "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" bereits richtig geleakt hat, berichtet jetzt, dass der Battle-Royale-Modus free-to-play sein wird (inklusive Cross-Play).
Der Battle-Royale-Modus wird zwar mit dem Hauptspiel verbunden sein, aber getrennt vom Basispaket kostenlos zum Download zur Verfügung stehen. Man muss "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" also nicht kaufen, um Battle-Royale zu spielen. Der Release soll Anfang 2020 im Rahmen der Post-Launch-Season erfolgen.
So apparently Battle Royale in #ModernWarfare will be a free mode to release in early 2020. It will be downloadable as a separate game, but also will still be connected to the core game. If this is true then it's a very good move by Activision.
