Ein Jahr nach dem Release von "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" wird sie Sammlung weiterhin unterstützt. Diese Woche erscheint ein neuer Patch.
Im Laufe dieser Woche wird ein neuer Patch für "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" erscheinen, wie bekannt gegeben wurde. Dabei wurden auch schon die Patch-Notes ins Netz gestellt. Unter anderem werden neue Strafen für Quitter eingeführt und zahlreiche Fehler behoben. Man kann sogar zeitweise vom Matchmaking ausgeschlossen werden. Nach diesem Patch will 343 Industries weiter an Verbesserungen arbeiten.

- Players will now receive a quit penalty and rank penalty for quitting any time after matchmaking voting begins in all matchmaking playlists, both ranked and unranked
- Added matchmaking betrayal booting for Halo: Combat Evolved
- Matchmaking voting now randomizes winner in the case of a tie, rather than selecting the left-most option

- Fixed the glitched Who Needs Them? achievement
